I very much enjoyed my time living in Japan and studying at KCP.

Anthony from 2013

What were the most productive and interesting aspects of the program for you? The least interesting and productive?

I think everything was interesting. I was always learning something, always expanding my understanding of the language.

What activities or materials did you find most helpful (e.g., pair work, drill practice, tests, small group sessions, textbooks, games)?

I enjoy tests and work out of the textbook. Small group and pair work is good sometimes, but I often have trouble thinking of examples, so I don't always get as much out of it.

Any further thoughts or tips for those considering the program or new KCP students?

I very much enjoyed my time living in Japan and studying at KCP. I definitely recommend KCP for people who want to experience life in Japan and studying the language.

Testimonials

Choosing KCP was largely to do with the ease of application. A lot of other summer courses required a lot of paperwork and recommendations and transcripts that are a big pain to gather. But KCP’s application process was very easy and self-explanatory! Also, the student life photos looked interesting!
