Which events or activities did you find the most satisfying and why?
I really enjoyed the trip to Kamakura. Visiting many of the famous historical sites with new friends and just having a good time was very meaningful. Staying in the Ryokan was also very interesting experience.
Why did you select this program?
The application information/eligibility was very straight forward and the program seemed like the best choice financially and educationally for me because I only want to focus on learning Japanese.
What did you find most valuable in the Culture Course?
I learned a lot more about Japanese history through the offered culture courses. I also enjoyed the lectures which were presented to us on various subjects which included Japanese psychology, history of Japanese tea ceremony, Japanese theater, etc.
