University of Idaho has approved for academic credit courses taught at KCP International Japanese Language School. You can earn one year or more of language credit each term (either semester or quarter). KCP credits are recorded on the University of Idaho transcript as transfer credit, showing the total number of credits accepted and the total GPA. If needed, KCP can send an official KCP grade sheet to accompany the University of Idaho transcript.

KCP courses have been approved for credit by this university, but it is up to each student to determine transferability of credit.
During the first week of KCP classes, students are offered three grading options: Grade, Pass/Fail, or Audit. Note that for most study-abroad and transfer credits, choosing “Grade” will not affect a student’s cumulative GPA. Students choosing “Audit” will fully participate in the course but will not earn academic credit.
