Financial Aid

Learn about financial resources and plan financial aid for full-time, credit-bearing study.

Financial aid can apply in many cases to the KCP program.

To determine your eligibility and to obtain all necessary forms, check with your home school’s Study Abroad and Financial Aid offices.

Through the University of Idaho, you can apply for financial aid. UI may even have additional financial aid available. The University of Idaho considers even an adult non-matriculating (non-degree) student to be a full time student, thus allowing both matriculating and adult learners to apply for financial aid.

For extensive financial resources for study in Japan including guidance on applying, a sample budget, scholarship sites, and financial aid directory sites, see KCP Student Life’s Financial Resources.

Testimonials

The orientation helped me understand what level of Japanese was right for me. Very well organized; staff people greeted us warmly, setting us up to enjoy our time at KCP.
